Many years ago, my husband and I adopted two little female Siamese kittens named Hungry and Precious. Last year, we lost both of our Siamese Cats, who were 21 years old. My husband and I were lost, lonely, and sad. For a couple of weeks, I just stared at their photo. Then I started looking on the Internet, at rescue centers and shelters, for Siamese cats or kittens.
One day, I went to donate some things to a no kill shelter and took a look at the pets. During my third visit, I took some new towels for the kittens to sleep on. I saw a Tiger cat there that I liked, and my husband had said that he would only like to have Siamese or Tiger cat or kitten. Well the lady at the shelter said she received a 3 ½ month old male Siamese kitten an hour ago, I said I would take him sight unseen. She then told me he had a brother in the third cage and I agreed to take them both so no one else separates them.
So now we have two Siamese Chocolate Point Male Kittens (Keno & Luckie). I think we were always meant to have them in twos (one for my husband and one for myself). Who said three is the magic number?
P.S. There are lots of animals at shelters that you should check out if you’re planning on adopting a kitten. That way, you can see what you’re getting and helping out animals in need.
